With more than 32 years of experience in the financial services industry; she is the face of the Armstrong Group. She has a wide array of the financial industry which allows her to help clients with all of their financial needs, such as estate, succession planning, to income and asset protection.

With her husband Tom and Son Denis (along with her grandchildren) living in Whitby and the surrounding area, it is not surprising as to how active she is in the community. She was the director of the Abilities Centre, and the Rotary Club Whitby Sunrise and is presently on the Executive Board of Lakeridge Health Whitby. She holds various fundraising events (raised over $65,000 in her annual charity golf tournament) and is the founder of Women of Whitby.

Patricia Rieck

Administrative Associate

Patricia joined ScotiaMcLeod in April of 2000. She brings with her over 20 years of experience in the Administration field and 10 years experience in the Financial Industry. Patricia received her Canadian Securities License in 2003.

Patricia is also active in the Community as a volunteer with the Whitby History Museum where she works as a Tour Guide and she is an active member on the Board of Directors. Patricia has also participated in numerous fundraising events in the Community and chaired with Lucas Tosoni on ScotiaMcLeod’s First Annual Food Drive for Feed the Need Durham. Patricia’s other outside interests include reading, writing and several outdoor activities. She is also a member of the Whitby County Town Singers.

Joey Mack, Director, Portfolio Advisory Group

Joey Mack has been with Scotia Capital since 2002, holding several positions in the Portfolio Advisory Group and in Fixed Income Research before taking on the role of Manager of the Fixed Income Advisory and Trading team in 2006. In his role, Joey works with the Regional and Branch Mangers and Investment Advisors to identify opportunities to support and promote fixed income asset growth and investment initiatives.
